We are looking for a Junior Corporate Counsel to support our in-house Legal Department. This position focuses on drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, conducting legal research, assisting with compliance and litigation matters, and supporting general legal operations. It’s an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or early-career attorney to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic international business environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including marketing, distribution, vendor, and confidentiality contracts
- Conduct legal research on corporate, regulatory, and commercial issues
- Assist with litigation and claims management, including coordination with outside counsel
- Support marketing and IP review to ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Maintain organized records and databases for contracts, legal documents, and departmental projects
- Provide other legal or administrative support as assigned
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 0-2 years of experience in a corporate or law firm environment
- Strong legal research, drafting, and organizational skills
- Spanish or Portuguese a plus
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and/or LL.M. from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Compensation:
Based on experience, we offer a very competitive base salary plus a bonus
