Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused cashier to join our busy specialty meat shop. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can provide excellent customer service while keeping checkout running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly, courteous service & always "Thank" a customer for there business.
- Answer customer questions and assist with orders.
- Answer phone calls and take orders with courtesy.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, while using a POS system.
- Help bag orders and maintain a clean , organized checkout area.
- Work closely with team members to keep customers moving during busy periods.
Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods.
- Previous cashier experience is preferred.
