Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a vital role in menu planning, team management, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows to deliver outstanding service in both fine dining and catering environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food production
  • Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation standards
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and client specifications
  • Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food handling, and safety procedures
  • Monitor food service operations to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Assist in hiring, scheduling, and shift management for kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with management on budget control and resource allocation
  • Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management with strong culinary skills
  • Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and dietary department regulations
  • Expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
  • Background in banquet experience and food service management preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management, control systems, and food handling procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality excellence
  • Culinary certifications or relevant training are highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
