What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator - SAIL position at Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union?
Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking a SAIL Paraeducator to join our team beginning in the 2026/2027 school year! SAIL is a district-wide program housed at our newly reconfigured elementary and middle school building in Manchester. This multiage program serves students on the Autism Spectrum in grades 4-8. Its focus is on creating intentional opportunities for students to participate with their grade level peers in meaningful activities, while also receiving specially designed instruction to build their individual communication, personal care, social-emotional, and academic skills. The SAIL program is committed to increasing student independence in order to transition to a regular education environment as appropriate. Paraeducators work under the day-to-day direction of a special education teacher, SLP, OT, PT and the Principal.

Pay Rate:
- $24.50 - $27.50 per hour, based on years of direct experience working with the same population of students.
