As the Enterprise Applications Strategist, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and day-to-day administration of core Windows and Microsoft Office applications, endpoint patching, and firmwide accounting applications. This role partners closely with vendors, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure applications are properly installed, configured, secured, and kept up to date across all endpoints.
Key Responsibilities
As the Enterprise Applications Strategist, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and day-to-day administration of core Windows and Microsoft Office applications, endpoint patching, and firmwide accounting applications. This role partners closely with vendors, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure applications are properly installed, configured, secured, and kept up to date across all endpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications are consistently updated and patched across firm endpoints
- Manage endpoint vulnerability remediation in coordination with security and IT operations
- Monitor application health and proactively address performance or stability issues
- Install, configure, and maintain core firm applications such as document management systems (DMS) and workpaper management platform
- Partner with application vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and configuration best practices
- Coordinate testing and deployment of application updates with minimal business disruption
- Follow change management and documentation standards for application and endpoint changes
- Administer Microsoft Intune for device and application management, configuration profiles, and compliance policies
- Manage IT operations platform for endpoint monitoring, patching, scripting, and automation
- Maintain clear documentation for application builds, configurations, and deployment processes
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for application-related incidents and escalations
- Collaborate with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent end‑user experience
- 4 years of experience in an Application Analyst, Endpoint Analyst, or similar IT role
- Experience managing: Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications, Endpoint patching and vulnerability remediation, Microsoft Intune administration, RMM tools, Group Policy management
- Experience installing and supporting line‑of‑business applications in a Windows environment
- Ability to work directly with software vendors and translate business needs into technical configurations
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with document management platforms
- Experience supporting compliance-driven environments (SOC, ISO, internal controls)
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Power Automate or UiPath preferred)
- Understanding of change management and release coordination
