We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medicaid Application specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have AT LEAST 1 YEAR submitting Medicaid Applications.
We are a small but growing company that specializes in Medicaid. We assist families in Medicaid education, application and asset preservation. This position will assist families through the Application process, from filling out the initial application through completing the verification.
It is part time, paid per job position. Though we anticipate the option of full time position within 6 months. You will be able to set your schedule and work your own hours, as long as the case is complete by the deadline. The only requirement is that families be contacted within daytime or early evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable about Medicaid Application and Verification process.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently. No one is looking over your shoulder, but you will need to provide regular updates as to progress of the case.
- Collaborate with company, families, Attorney offices, financial and medical institutions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all aspects of application management and patient data handling.
- Support and encourage families to obtain records in timely manner.
- Regularly update documentation related to application processes and user guides.
