What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Bennett Oil?
This dynamic position requires an experienced accounts receivable specialist with collections / credit management knowledge. Must have Experience in Accounts receivable processing, accounting and credit. Monday Through Friday 8am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Receive payments via check, credit card, ach processing, direct payments
- Post payments, maintaining customer A/R balances
- Process new customer credit applications
- Contact customers for collections as necessary
- Heavy email executing timely customer communications
- Navigate various 3rd party payment portals for posting and reconciliation
- Customer Service and answering phones
Skills
- Must have Experience in Accounts receivable processing and credit management
- Experience in Microsoft programs, including Excel & Teams
- Highly organized with strong follow up skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
