Bennett Mfg. is seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and standards.
Duties
- Must be capable of grinding all parts to meet specifications and quality requirements of the company.
- Must be capable of setting-up and operating all grinding wheels to produce a quality product, especially using a 7 inch grinder
- Must be capable of finishing spotwelds to produce a smooth surface after grinding.
- Work under the direction of the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Proficient in grinding techniques and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
