Job Overview
We are a busy family looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized Household Assistant who can help keep our home running smoothly and provide occasional childcare for our children. This is a great role for someone who enjoys both homemaking tasks and spending time with kids.
Responsibilities
- cleaning and tidying (dishes with dishwasher, floors, bathrooms, etc.)
- organizing spaces (playroom, pantry, kids spaces, etc.)
- laundry
- assisting with general household tasks as needed
Childcare (Occasional)
- watching 1-4 kids, ages 4yrs - 13 yrs, during short periods as needed.
- engage in age appropriate play
- preparing simple meals & snacks for kids
- ensuring a safe, calm, and positive environment
Skills
- Experience with children, including babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or preschool experience
- good communicator
- Ability to organize an unorganized space
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific care techniques
- Ability to perform basic caregiving tasks such as infant care, toddler care, and meal preparation
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Strong communication skills and patience when working with children and families
- Skills in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic environment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 15.0 per week
