Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mixer Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate concrete mixer trucks to deliver and pour high-quality concrete at various construction sites. Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver concrete mixer trucks, ensuring precise delivery of mixed concrete to designated locations on construction sites
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other crew members to schedule deliveries and optimize workflow
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, brakes, lights, and mechanical components to maintain safety and compliance
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using auxiliary equipment such as loaders or excavators when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication records for each job site
- Support other construction activities such as rebar installation, concrete forming, or finishing as needed to contribute to project progress
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and construction site procedures
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record suitable for operating heavy vehicles
- Proven experience operating concrete mixers, dump trucks, or similar commercial vehicles in a construction environment
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loaders, excavators, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures
- Ability to perform basic mechanical checks and troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
- Experience with concrete pumping, paving, or finishing is a plus but not required
- Physical ability to load/unload materials and perform duties that require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods
