Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Box Truck Sleeper Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of sleeper compartments within box trucks, ensuring all components are securely and professionally fitted. Duties
- Measure, cut, and assemble sleeper modules using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to schematics and blueprints
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, and trim carpentry components within box trucks with precision and care
- Conduct construction inspections throughout the installation process to guarantee quality standards are met
- Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for lifting or positioning large components
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation procedures
- Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to ensure durability and a polished appearance
- Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate tasks efficiently and maintain safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work, including blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to fabrication and installation tasks
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, drywall (plastering), flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and concrete finishing is highly desirable
- Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating processes is a plus
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in fabrication and installation projects
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
