JOB TITLE: PYTHON OPERATOR
Description of Position Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides the set- up, operation and maintenance of the Python X and plans for the efficient operation of the Python. Ability to fulfill general Warehouse and Processor duties as assigned or needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIILTIES:
- Measure stock lengths
- Load and unload material from the machine
- Package complete jobs for shipment
- Operate overhead cranes, forklift, and warehousing
- Load and manipulate programs where necessary
- Measure parts with tape, and/or square
- Read prints or digital files to ensure part conforms to customer's design
- Inspect and change consumables to ensure optimal cut quality
- Perform daily Python preventative maintenance and accurately fill out daily Python inspection log
- General maintenance and cleaning of Python as assigned
- Put away all drops daily
- Maintain a safe and efficient work area.
- Maintain organization of consumables and machine specific tooling
- Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
