Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Duties
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations for food pairings and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
- Previous fine dining experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
