Licensed Septic Technician / Excavator Operator (Sub-Surface Installer)
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Andover is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Licensed Septic Technician who knows how to get the job done right. If you're skilled in septic system installations, repairs, diagnostics, and confidently operate excavators and heavy equipment, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
- Install, repair, and replace residential septic systems
- Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform septic inspections and troubleshoot system failures
- Read site plans, grades, and utility layouts
- Work closely with homeowners while providing an exceptional customer experience
- Ensure all work meets Connecticut code and company quality standards
- Complete digital paperwork and job documentation
What We're Looking For
✔ Connecticut Licensed Septic Technician (or equivalent required qualifications)
✔ Experience operating excavators and heavy equipment
✔ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Professional appearance and communication skills
✔ Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
