Position Overview
The Junior Plumbing Technician assists plumbers with residential plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services while gaining hands-on field experience and industry training.
Responsibilities
- Support senior plumbers during plumbing service and installation appointments
- Assist with diagnosing residential plumbing issues and completing repairs
- Prepare work areas and maintain organization of tools and materials
- Help install plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and water systems
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site
- Learn plumbing codes, system layouts, and troubleshooting techniques
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Qualifications
- Some plumbing experience or training is required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
