What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCBA (part-time) position at Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School?
**This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week**
The responsibilities of the BCBA include:
- Ensure ABA strategies, behavior plans, and reinforcement systems are implemented consistently and accurately across all settings
- Evaluate students for services through data collection, teacher reports, observations, checklists and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
- Oversee the development of data-collection and behavioral procedures in order to monitor target behaviors and student progress
- Develop and create objective and measurable individualized IEP goals and objectives.
- Develop appropriate behavior support plans, social skills curriculum and ensure consistency in programming
- Provide student progress toward goals and objectives through IEP progress reports and IEP meetings
- Support teachers/staff regarding behavioral management plans/procedures
- Provide teachers/staff with resources, tools, and modeling of techniques
- Provide inclusion services, work 1:1 with students and run small social skill groups
- Complete needed reports, paperwork and job-related assignments in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with related service providers
