Speech-Language Pathologist position available for SY26/27Qualifications: Professional license in Speech, Language and Hearing Disorders through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with PreK-middle school age childrenEffective oral, written communication and presentation skillsAbility to collaborate with other staffCitizenship, residency or work visa requiredResponsibilities: Administer appropriate assessments for initial evaluations and reevaluationsParticipate in IEP meetingsDevelop and implement IEP goals and objectives Provide individual or group therapy for identified students, as indicated by the IEPWrite tri-annual progress reports Maintain accurate records for all students on caseload Conduct informal observations and provide recommendations for students of concern Collaborate with teachers, parents and staff Maintain positive communication with parentsAttend weekly in house professional development workshops Maintain ongoing knowledge of current research-based methods and state regulations in the field of speech-language pathologyParticipate in school wide activities/eventsCover lunch and recess when needed Performing additional duties as requested by the Support Services Director or the Executive Director School Year Contract August -JuneSalary based on experience and teacher salary scaleInsurance BenefitsHours: 7:30-3:30 Full TimeIf interested, please send a letter of interest, resume and three letters of recommendation to Human Resources at hr@banneker.org.
