What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Benham, Miller and Harris, Inc.?
We are looking for an Accountant with a minimum of 3 years public accounting experience. You will serve as the primary contact for your clients. It is important that candidate's possess good people skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. QuickBooks, (both Desktop and Online) as well as Personal and business tax preparation experience is required. We are team oriented and everyone works together to make the client experience exceptional

Skills required:
*Preparation of financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annually), including balance sheet reconciliation, adjusting entries, depreciation/amortization, journalizing payroll entries.
*Preparation of tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120s, 1065
*Preparation of payroll entries, and payroll tax returns (941, 940 and state agency returns)
*Sales tax preparation and reporting
*Proficient in QuickBooks (desktop and online)
*Proficient in Microsoft office (significant emphasis on use of Excel)
*Proficient in Drake is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
