Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire culinary team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect current food trends while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and dietary restrictions to meet diverse customer needs.
  • Manage inventory control and food cost analysis to optimize purchasing, minimize waste, and maximize profitability.
  • Supervise food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen operations.
  • Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service delivery.
  • Implement training programs on food handling, sanitation standards, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Oversee shift management and kitchen workflow to maintain efficiency during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning for special occasions, seasonal offerings, and promotional events.
  • Monitor quality standards consistently to uphold the reputation of the establishment’s culinary offerings.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or culinary leadership roles within the food industry.
  • Extensive background in fine dining environments with a focus on high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience managing diverse culinary teams across multiple service areas such as catering or banquet operations.
  • Strong knowledge of dietary department practices including special diets and allergen management.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control strategies in a hospitality setting.
  • Hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards such as HACCP certification.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
