Bengal supports turnaround and maintenance projects with a focus on safety, efficiency and dependable service. We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to connect skilled craft professionals with project opportunities and help our teams meet time-sensitive staffing needs.

Position Summary

The Recruiter manages the full recruitment process for welders, pipefitters, crane operators, riggers and other industrial crafts. This role works closely with hiring managers and project leaders to source qualified candidates, coordinate hiring and onboarding, and keep staffing on schedule. Availability for urgent recruiting calls on a 24/7 basis is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Source craft candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, direct outreach and established industry networks.
• Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates, keeping their skills, certifications and availability current.
• Review resumes and conduct phone screenings and interviews to assess craft experience, qualifications and readiness for project requirements.
• Partner with hiring managers and project leads to confirm staffing levels, required skills, client specifications and project start dates.
• Explain job duties, pay, schedules, locations and site requirements so candidates understand each opportunity before placement.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, pre-employment requirements and onboarding with the appropriate internal teams.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and recruiting files while protecting confidential candidate information.
• Track time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and candidate quality; report staffing progress and flag hiring delays that could affect project schedules.
• Follow up with candidates through placement, respond to urgent staffing needs and support other recruiting activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of recruiting experience with a focus on turnaround crafts or industrial staffing.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing and recruiting welders, pipefitters, crane operators, riggers or other skilled industrial trades.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, social media recruiting and online sourcing tools.
• Knowledge of industrial craft roles and the safety regulations, certifications and site requirements relevant to candidate placement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with clear and consistent follow-through with candidates and hiring managers.
• Ability to organize multiple openings, adjust priorities quickly and meet urgent staffing deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and remain available for urgent recruiting needs outside traditional business hours.

Schedule and Availability

This full-time position requires availability to receive and respond to urgent candidate calls and staffing needs. Calls and recruiting activities may occur during evenings, overnight, on weekends and on holidays, depending on turnaround and maintenance project demands.
