Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced NCCCO Certified Crane Operator with a Class A CDL to operate and transport cranes across multiple industrial job sites.
- Starting at $37/hour (DOE β based on experience, certifications, and qualifications)
- Schedule: 8β12 hours/day | 5β7 days/week
- Work Type: Local Out-of-Town (Per Diem Lodging Provided)
- Work Environment: Industrial facilities and plant sites
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile cranes safely in compliance with OSHA and NCCCO standards
- Transport cranes and equipment using a Class A CDL
- Perform daily inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Read and apply load charts and lift plans
- Work alongside riggers and site personnel to execute safe, efficient lifts
Required Certifications & Credentials
- CDL Class A (Required)
- NCCCO Crane Operator Certification
- NCCER Certification
- TWIC Card (Required)
- OSHA Certification
- Security Passport
- Valid DOT Medical Card
Must Successfully Complete/Understand:
- Mobile Crane Operator Test
- Rigging Knowledge Assessment
- Signal Person Knowledge Assessment
- Load Chart Knowledge Assessment
Hiring & Compliance Requirements
- Interview required
- Drug screen required
- MVR required (Heavy Truck classification)
- Valid driver's license required
- DOT Physical required
