Benevida Health and Wellness is a high volume practice located in Kyle, Hays County, Texas. Kyle is located between Austin and San Antonio and is one of the fastest growing areas in the country.
As an associate chiropractor, you would work under the direction of the lead chiropractor, Dr. Emily Lain with extensive latitude for independent judgement, providing expert chiropractic care to patients. Benevida Health and Wellness Center serves a wide range of patients, including newborn and pediatric; pre and postnatal; as well as the Medicare population. Our mission is to provide a path to a vibrant and healthy lifestyle through compassionate and holistic health care.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Complete thorough examination of new patient and assess patient’s medical condition by reviewing the patient’s medical history and concerns
- Determine need for imaging
- Develop treatment plan and discuss with patient
- Use neuromusculoskeletal expertise to treat a wide variety of symptoms
- Manually adjust a patient’s spine, hips, knees, and other joints
- Recommend lifestyle changes and diet as part of a more comprehensive treatment regimen, as appropriate
- Give additional treatments, such as applying e-stim, hot or cold therapy, or prescribing rehabilitative exercises
- Refer patients to other healthcare professionals if needed
- Keep thorough, clear, and concise medical records on each patient
Education and experience:
Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and a license to practice in the State of Texas
Experience in prenatal and pediatric treatments
Experience working with chronic pain patients
Experience in rehabilitation and corrective care treatments
Ability to determine and present patient treatment plans and develop excellent doctor/patient relations
Excellent time management skills
Experience in nutrition and nutraceuticals
Proficient in ChiroHD practice management software
