For 8 years, Benefits Resource Group has partnered with business owners, high-earning professionals, and high-net-worth individuals across the Western U.S. to build financial security and generational wealth. 

Led by Founder Larry Santiago and based in Honolulu, we specialize in executive benefits, tax-efficient retirement strategies, and wealth transfer planning.

We primarily work with contractors in the construction industry, medical professionals such as dentists and doctors, executives, as well as affluent families who value strategic, personalized guidance to build, protect, and transfer wealth.

We're hiring 3-5 BENEFITS CONSULTANTS to join our client-focused team. This is a relationship-focused role where you will be trained to act as a principal advisor, not a salesperson. You will advise clients on executive benefits, keyman insurance, buy/sell agreements, non-qualified deferred compensation, and exit planning. This is a consultative role focused on building lasting relationships and delivering meaningful impact.

• Consult with executive-level clients on benefits design, retirement planning, and wealth transfer strategies
• Analyze client financials and business structures to architect tailored solutions
• Explain sophisticated financial products in ways clients understand and trust
• Build and nurture relationships through proactive communication and thoughtful follow-up
• Collaborate with our team to deliver seamless, high-quality service
• Manage your pipeline with discipline and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 years in finance, accounting, insurance, benefits consulting, sales, or client advisory roles
• Strong financial acumen with mental math and financial modeling skills
• Exceptional communication skills in writing and conversation
• Proven relationship-building ability with a client-first mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to cultivate professional networks
• Access to a large warm market of contractors, medical professionals, or other businesses with 10 employees or more.

• Experience advising business owners or high-net-worth clients
• Knowledge of cash-value life insurance strategies and tax-advantaged benefits
• Familiarity with health, wellness, or senior resource programs
