We are currently seeking a Data Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. This role oversees data management by updating and maintaining information in company databases and computer systems. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and usable information in all systems. Our ideal candidate has essential data formatting skills, an eye for detail, and familiarity with Benefit Admin platforms, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and online forms.

Key Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of cases within Salesforce and ensure proper Data Management by uploading change imports, census files, uploading claims, medical data, and client information, survey responses data, terminations, etc.
- Work within a number of external benefit administration platforms (Selerix, ADP, Paycom, BenXpress, etc.) to build and pull files for import into Salesforce.
- Review data for discrepancies, duplicates, and errors, and make corrections as needed prior to import.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Work directly with our client and broker partners on a regular basis to request updated census files for assigned cases
- Management of many cases and file types with varying datasets that must be normalized for import
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a Data Specialist role or related office experience
- Associate degree preferred
- Expert computer literacy skills (typing, data entry, Microsoft Office suite, and managing email)
- Experience in Salesforce and OneDrive/SharePoint
- Excellent written and oral communications along with strong time management and organizational skills
Desired Attributes
- Experience building reports in Benefit Administrative platforms preferred
- Salesforce experience, specifically in using Data Loader, Inspector, or similar applications preferred, including ability to read and understand import error logs
- Experience using DataGroomr
- Well versed in using lookup functions in Excel
- Strong knowledge of insurance concepts (e.g., deductible, coinsurance, premiums, risk management)
- Ability to establish goals and manage time to ensure completion of them
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
