Position SummaryThe HR Generalist will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing while supporting core HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, compliance, and recruitment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing transactional accuracy with strategic HR support in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll AdministrationProcess biweekly/monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule.Maintain and audit payroll records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.Manage employee timekeeping systems and resolve discrepancies in hours or pay.Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and year-end documentation (e.g., W-2s, 1099s).Liaise with Finance and Accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts.Stay current on changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage/hour compliance.Human Resources SupportServe as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll inquiries.Support full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation.Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure accurate personnel records.Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor coordination.Participate in performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives.Support HR compliance efforts, including EEO reporting and policy updates.
