Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to enhance the appearance of hard surfaces.
- Execute carpet cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by performing janitorial duties as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental services practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and techniques is beneficial.
- Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers, extractors, and vacuums is highly desirable.
