What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time housekeeper position at Benedictine Sisters?
Housekeeper is responsible for Cleaning designated areas throughout the Guest houses; cleaning includes, but is not limited to: dusting, sweeping, mopping, Vacuuming, cleaning windows and bathrooms
Perform light maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: changing light bulbs, tightening screws, etc.
Develop a schedule that assures regular maintenance of all areas assigned
Provide laundry services as assigned
Dispose of Trash
Clean windows and blinds as needed
Report broken equipment and furniture for repair or replacement
Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies need to be restocked
Make note of areas that need attention
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Requirements: Applicants must be able to
Must be able to pass a background screening and drug test
Manage time well and prioritize needs
tolerate exposure to various cleaning detergents
Lift 25-50 without restrictions on occasion
operate related cleaning machinery (floor scrubber, vacuum, etc.)
Be available for occasional flexible hours
Tolerate standing for long periods
Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and climb
Use a ladder
