Job Summary
This position is responsible for a variety of general custodial, grounds-keeping, and general maintenance tasks that assure a well-maintained building in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Essential Functions of the Job, Departmental Expectations
- Performs general custodial tasks including, but not limited to, removing trash, washing windows/walls, moving furniture and supplies.

- Performs floor care such as cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning throughout the facility.
- Assists with building maintenance and construction work as needed on all surfaces, interior or exterior of facility.
- Assists with grounds maintenance, including but not limited to lawn care, snow removal.
- Assists with general repairs to facility and guests' equipment.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
- Excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills
- Certified pool operator license of certificate or ability to obtain one
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English Qualifications Preferred
- MN state boiler's license, 2nd class "C"
- Heat pumps, refrigeration
- Previous health care setting experience preferred
- Building and grounds maintenance experience
- Mechanically inclined Cognitive or Mental Requirements of the Job
- Reading, writing, weighing and measuring
- Decision making
- Contact with guests, families, public and other facility staff
