Job Title: Assistant Athletic Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Department, to specifically include:
- Schedule home and away games for all BSoR Athletic Teams.
- Secure officials for all home BSoR Athletic contests.
- Schedule any additional support staff for home contests and major athletic events and tournaments to include security, event staff, ambulance, ticket sales, concessions and parking.
- Act as game manager and facility supervisor at home events. ·
- Schedule facility usage for practices and games, to include rain day/weather schedules.
- Assist in the distribution and collection of uniforms and equipment as well as assisting in the inventory and ordering of new equipment and uniforms.
- Monitor the academic review program with BCP program lead.
- Provide transportation in a small bus for teams when needed.
- Assist with planning the annual athletic fundraising event, athletic banquets, Hall of Fame and additional athletic celebrations.
- Secure and enter rosters and maintain the school website with scores and team updates.
- Support in scheduling and running various events especially pertaining to BCP program (BCCC and ECCC tournament, cookies with captains, coaches' midseason check in, pre-season coaches' meetings to distribute athletic handbook etc.).
- Conduct post-season survey of all BSoR student athletes and collect data for the Athletic Director.
- Organize and manage team shops for each sport.
- Perform an inventory of athletic equipment four times each year, once after each season (fall, winter, and spring) and a final inventory at the end of the school year.
- Maintain social media accounts for the BSoR Athletic program.
- Aid in community building with faculty/staff, other students, alumni and other members of the Richmond community to include in game promotions, game livestreaming and media outreach.
- Perform the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, productive and efficient office.
- Adhere to all policies in the Coaches Handbook, including VISAA Code of Conduct.

Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, coaches, officials, and administrative staff.
- Ability to inspire and motivate high school athletes to achieve team goals.
- Ability to work varied hours depending on game schedule and athletic season and to adjust schedule in response to weather and other School issues.
- Ability to travel to middle schools and game sites.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to operate minibus with 14 passengers (No CDL Required).
- Ability to be outdoors and work away from a desk on a field for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Completion of Diocesan VIRTUS initial training and all monthly updates throughout employment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill and experience in the field of athletics.
- Minimum of 3 years prior coaching and/or comparable administrative experience.
- College degree required.
