Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, preparation of financial reports, and supervision of junior accounting staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledgers for multiple companies.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly census reporting.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and improvements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications: 

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Business Central).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
