Quality Assurance Clerk (Document Controller)

BendTec, LLC has an exciting opportunity available for a Quality Assurance Clerk to be an integral part of our Fabrication team. Responsibilities: The Quality Assurance Clerk is responsible for the accumulation, copying, filing, and submission of accurate and complete job files & drawings to customers and BendTec file storage system. 

Essential Functions:

• Sort and distribute internal and external project communications.
• Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
• Retrieve, print and file documentation related to specific projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance.
• Review project documents for accuracy, scan and submit completed job files.
• Distribute, control and maintain records of quality, engineering, welding & manufacture procedure manuals.

What You'll Need:

• Education required: a high school diploma or a GED.
• Experience: no experience is required.
• Experience preferred: 2-3 years related experiance.
• Computer experience in Word, Access, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with document control and filing systems.
• Technical aptitude, analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using internet & FTP sites (File Transfer Protocol).
