Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable:
- Process and deposit checks for both corporate and property accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review invoices for accuracy.
- Review vendor packets for completeness and compliance.
- Accurately set up vendors in the accounting system.
- Review and analyze accounts payable aging reports to identify outstanding items.
- Prepare and submit check fraud reports to banks for review and resolution.
- Process resident move-outs across all properties, ensuring charges and credits are accurately reflected in tenant ledgers.
- Post resident payments accurately and timely to tenant accounts, ensuring proper application.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist with journal entry preparation and perform account analysis for corporate and property-level accounts.
- Support month-end close activities by preparing documentation and assisting with financial reporting requirements.
