The Enrollment Data Analyst leads the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of districtwide enrollment and attendance systems, data, reporting, and processes. This role is accountable for the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of student enrollment and attendance data across all schools and programs.
Under limited supervision, the Enrollment Data Analyst provides technical leadership and system oversight, ensuring alignment with state and federal reporting requirements and district practices. The position serves as the primary liaison between school sites, district leadership, and Information Technology, supporting the effective use and ongoing improvement of the student information system.
This role designs and manages enrollment and attendance workflows, supports implementation across schools, and provides training and guidance to ensure consistent practices. The Enrollment Data Analyst analyzes data, identifies system and process improvements, facilitates feedback loops, and makes recommendations to district leadership to strengthen data quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Essential Job Functions
Work is typically performed in an office environment requiring extended periods of computer use, concentration, and analysis of technical information. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to interruptions, and coordinate work across projects with competing timelines and deadlines. Work is performed both independently and collaboratively with district staff, vendors, and external partners.
The position requires travel between district sites. The employee may occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move equipment consistent with assigned duties. Work outside of regular hours may be required to support system updates, enrollment processes, or project implementation.
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of enrollment and attendance data across all schools and programs.
- Oversees the configuration, use, and continuous improvement of the student information system related to enrollment and attendance, in partnership with Information Technology.
- Serves as the primary liaison between school sites, district leadership, and Information Technology to support system functionality, improvements, and issue resolution.
- Maintains system processes that align with state and federal reporting requirements and district expectations.
- Analyzes enrollment and attendance data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement; prepares reports for district review and submission.
- Recommends system and process improvements to enhance data quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Implements training and guidance to school-based staff on enrollment and attendance procedures, system use, and best practices.
- Supports school sites and district programs in implementing consistent enrollment and attendance practices.
- Provides technical support to program supervisors during Choice Option Lottery and Area Change processes
- Leads and oversees districtwide summer enrollment processes, ensuring accurate and timely enrollment while school sites are not in session.
- Develops and maintains enrollment workflows that support school readiness and ensure students and families have accurate and complete information.
- Collaborates with district departments and programs to ensure enrollment practices are inclusive, equitable, and aligned with district goals.
- Supports response to student records requests, including coordination with Legal Counsel as needed.
- Tracks and monitors student enrollment status, including follow-up on students with unknown or unresolved enrollment outcomes.
- Advocates for user needs and supports ongoing system improvements through feedback, testing, and communication of system updates.
- Facilitates periodic department meetings to coordinate emergent and ongoing needs and identify training opportunities.

- Experience providing training, guidance, or support to users of technical systems
- Experience implementing system changes collaboratively in a technical environment
- Experience with state reporting requirements related to student data
- Experience working across multiple sites or programs within a large organization
