Role Description
Bend Co. is seeking a dedicated part-time Yoga Instructor for an on-site position located in Tacoma, WA. The Yoga Instructor will be responsible for planning and conducting yoga classes, developing lesson plans tailored to client needs, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Daily responsibilities include teaching a variety of class types such as beginners yoga, all levels, and Vinyasa yoga, guiding meditative sessions, and supporting clients through mobility and functional movement practices. The instructor will also collaborate with clients and event coordinators to ensure a seamless wellness experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in yoga Instruction, particularly in teaching beginners and Vinyasa yoga practices
- Strong Teaching skills and the ability to develop and adapt lesson plans for diverse participant needs
- Exceptional Communication skills to engage and connect with clients of varying fitness levels
- Certification in yoga instruction and relevant disciplines; CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory. Liability insurance is mandatory.
- A passion for wellness and the ability to create a supportive and welcoming environment
- Flexibility to work on-site in Tacoma, WA with occasional scheduling adjustments.
- Experience with additional wellness practices such as meditation or functional movement is beneficial
