The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations which included:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Monitor workflow to ensure productivity, accuracy, and on-time order fulfillment
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation
- Collaborate with other distribution centers and Benco departments (operations, customer service, purchasing, etc.) to resolve issues and maintain consistent operations
- Responsible for the creation of, and maintenance of required reports, used by Warehouse and Operations teams
- Analyze performance metrics and assist with the implementation and follow-up of any Quality / LEAN / Continuous Improvement process improvements
- Manage staffing schedules, attendance, and labor planning
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Responsible for associate coaching/training - documentation, constructive/progressive discipline practice, performance review process, associate meetings and touch-points
- Associates degree in Business or related field or equivalent education/experience
- 2-5 years of warehouse or distribution experience
- 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred
- Experience with Infor systems preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS), inventory control practices, and Continuous Improvement/Quality Systems
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Available for travel (estimated 10%)
