What You’ll Do

• Lead conceptual and detailed estimates from early design to final construction documents
• Coordinate bid efforts: RFP development, scope reviews, final pricing, and bid strategy
• Mentor and guide junior estimators—help shape the next generation of preconstruction talent
• Refine and enhance tools, templates, and cost databases to keep us competitive
• Partner closely with development and construction leadership to steer project feasibility and budgeting
• Track cost trends and regional market data to sharpen our forecasting and keep us ahead

Technical Edge

• Expert-level mastery of estimating tools: Sage Estimating, OST, Assemble, or similar
• Skilled with conceptual budgeting tools and bid leveling strategies
• Data-driven mindset: building reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, etc.
• Bonus points if you can manage templates or workflows in our estimating software

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 7 years of estimating/preconstruction experience (with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role)
• Proven track record with ground-up multifamily or mixed-use projects
• Preferred: industry certifications, mentoring experience, and deep knowledge of cost modeling & market trends

Additional Details

• Type: Full-time, exempt, Monday–Friday (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
• Travel: Moderate regional travel for site visits, kick-off meetings, and strategy sessions
• Supervision: Mentor and oversee junior estimators, lead process improvements, and support quality control
