What you will have an opportunity to do: Love building relationships, creating excitement, and closing business—but not living in event details? This may be your role. Riverhouse Lodge is seeking an energetic, sales-driven Group Sales Manager to grow our Weddings and SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religious, Fraternal) business segments. This role is focused on generating new business, creating memorable first impressions, and guiding clients confidently through the sales process before partnering with our events team for execution. We’re looking for someone who thrives on connecting with people, uncovering opportunities, and turning interest into signed business—not someone who wants to manage every event detail after the contract is complete. What You’ll Do Prospect, develop, and grow wedding and SMERF business Respond to inquiries and qualify opportunities Conduct site tours and create memorable sales experiences Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business Partner with event and operations teams for a seamless handoff after sale Build long-term client and community relationships Maintain accurate activity and pipeline management in Delphi Meet and exceed revenue and production goals What Success Looks Like Consistent pace of new bookings and revenue growth Strong prospect pipeline and conversion performance Exceptional client experience during the sales journey Clean transitions from sales to execution teams What are we looking for? What You Bring Hospitality, event, or group sales experience preferred Confidence in selling and building relationships Strong communication and organization skills Ability to manage multiple opportunities without losing momentum Self-motivated, positive, and goal-oriented mindset Why Riverhouse Lodge Recently renovated and rooted in over 50 years of history, Riverhouse Lodge offers one of Central Oregon’s largest collections of meeting and event space along the Deschutes River.
