Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly of production pre-production builds
- Aid in development of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Aid in development and execution of product build instructions
- Collaborate with engineering peers on product manufacturing process improvements
- Collaborate with engineering peers on implementing manufacturing tools
- Collaborate with engineering peers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews for design enhancement
- Collect manufacturing and test data, analyze, recommend and implement improvements
- Verify completed work, checking dimensions, materials to be used and quantities per the verification plan
- Assist in implementation of Kaizens and lean six sigma efforts
