What you will have an opportunity to do: Full Time & Part Time Seasonal positions available The role of the barista is to handle transactions at the register, make all products and coffees in accordance with the recipe and standard process, maintain the barista area, assist in maintenance of the retail floor, practice good teamwork, and provide excellent customer service. Part of this position involves light lifting, and standing for long durations of time. As a resort position, baristas will also be encouraged to help, on occasion, with things like pool attendant shifts and banquet shifts. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Maintaining cleanliness of the barista area - Maintaining proper stock of supplies in the barista area - Handling cash and credit transactions - Restocking the retail floor - Assisting in merchandising the retail floor - Assisting in opening and closing the market - Assisting in cleanliness of the retail floor - Providing an excellent guest experience - Learning new products and processes - Cooperating with team in a friendly manner - Completion of tasks given by manager Expectations: - Come to work with a friendly attitude - Work as a team player - Have a willingness to learn - Gain a sense of independence, within reason, after proper training and time spent working. - Show up on time and communicate any time off requests in advance with the manager. - No call no shows are unacceptable, and reliability is an expectation.
