Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join our team. As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technologies. You will work closely with project teams to ensure the successful execution of BIM workflows and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BIM standards and protocols for the organization
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate BIM models
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and distribution of BIM models and related documentation
- Conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
- Assist in clash detection and resolution or similar software
- Utilize BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to draft, build, and modify 2D/3D models
- Create 2D animations or schematics to visualize design concepts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or similar role
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D,
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., COBie, IFC)
- Familiarity with clash detection tools and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality control
