What You’ll Do
- Help keep the therapy department organized, welcoming, and running smoothly
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Assist with preparing residents for treatment under the direction of the therapy team
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment spaces
- Support the team with patient files, paperwork, scheduling, phone calls, emails, and other administrative tasks
- Monitor department supplies and assist with supply requests
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
- Greet and assist residents, families, and team members with a friendly and helpful approach
- Pitch in wherever needed to support the day-to-day needs of the therapy department
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys staying busy
- A friendly, patient, and compassionate approach when working with older adults
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer, phone, and administrative skills
- Willingness to learn and participate in training
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
