PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: Southwestern Veterans’ Center | Pittsburgh, PA
Benchmark Therapies is looking for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at the Southwestern Veterans’ Center in Pittsburgh.
For nearly 20 years, we have been proud to provide therapy services to the veterans who call this community home. This could be a meaningful opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working with older adults and wants flexible hours with a supportive, collaborative therapy team.

What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Carry out individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs and goals
- Help residents maintain or improve independence with daily activities, mobility, safety, cognition, and adaptive equipment
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
- Communicate resident progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
- Bring compassion, professionalism, and kindness to each interaction
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license in good standing
- A genuine interest in working with older adults and the veteran community
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach
