As our Van Driver, you will transport residents from Traditional Living and Memory Care to medical and non-medical appointments, shopping trips, restaurant outings (you attend too!), community events, and scenic drives. Training is provided.

What you will do
- Safely transport residents to appointments and outings
- Support residents during excursions and monitor safety and comfort
- Coordinate schedules with the Programming team and community staff
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist with routine maintenance needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable interacting with older adults and committed to safety and respect
- Strong communication and reliability
- DOT medical card required (or ability to obtain upon hire; DOT physical reimbursed)
- Availability for 30 hours per week

- Maintains vehicles in accordance with warranty requirements and/or internal maintenance plan to ensure safe, working order
- Acts as an Activity Assistant when on excursions; always stays with group except for when parking the van
- Transports residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips
- Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety.
