About The Role

The Senior Director of People Strategy & Operations is a modern HR leader — equal parts strategist, builder, and operator — who will own all things HR and recruiting. Reporting to the VP of Talent, you’ll help lead a small but mighty team responsible for optimizing how we hire, support, and scale our workforce.

You’ll bring clarity, systems, and measurable outcomes to the people side of the business — building an HR, Training, and TA engine that’s data-informed, tech-enabled, and outcome-obsessed.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and execute an integrated HR Training Talent Acquisition strategy that drives hiring velocity, retention, and organizational performance.
  • Build and manage scalable HR infrastructure, systems, and workflows that simplify complexity and improve the associate experience.
  • Use AI, analytics, and automation to modernize recruiting, workforce planning, and decision-making.
  • Partner with field and corporate leaders to ensure staffing levels, compliance, and HR operations support business priorities.
  • Elevate the employer brand and candidate experience, ensuring Benchmark attracts the best people in the industry.
  • Help lead, develop, and empower a results-focused HR, Training, and TA team known for accountability, speed, and service excellence.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Talent and the Engagement & Training team to ensure alignment on people strategy and business outcomes.

Necessary Competencies

  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 in senior leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and scale HR/TA teams
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Deep understanding of enabling and deploying tech in TA and HR environments (AI experience necessary)
  • Dayforce experience a plus

Salary starting at $170,000 plus bonus (20%)
