Academy Point Mystic is seeking a leader for a Shift Supervisor/Scheduler Role.
Your role will lead the CNA team on the floor and ensure staffing requirements for each shift comply with both internal and external policies and regulations for the Traditional Assisted Living & Memory Care Departments, and assist the CNA team as needed. The Shift Supervisor/Scheduler reports to the Resident Care Director (RCD).

Your role will lead the CNA team on the floor and ensure staffing requirements for each shift comply with both internal and external policies and regulations for the Traditional Assisted Living & Memory Care Departments, and assist the CNA team as needed. The Shift Supervisor/Scheduler reports to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
Responsibilities:
- Works with the Resident Services Director (RSD) in developing and executing a work schedule plan that allocates the associates to the appropriate duties and shifts.
- Communicates and coordinates schedules with associates based on the needs of the community and the associates’ work availability.
- Finds coverage for vacant shifts due to callouts and/or tardiness.
- Coordinates associates’ requests for time off for vacation, health & wellness, and holidays and endorses them to the RSD and RCD for approval.
- Reports inconsistencies, schedule-related issues, and shift/position vacancies to the RSD and RCD.
- Manages the inventory of medical and office supplies for the department, including requisition, storage, and distribution of supplies for the team.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma /GED required.
- Experienced CNA or similar role
- Previous scheduling experience is required
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a licensed medical facility is preferred.
