This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Systems Security.
Purpose
This is an entry level internship that will expose the student to multiple areas of cyber security. There will be several advanced enterprise-level applications and tools used daily in the ongoing efforts to keep the Company safe. Security practices will be developed and implemented with input from the team. This internship will focus on automating security procedures.

- Assist with monitoring all alerts as they come in
- Participate in investigations and remediations of attacks
- Prepare reporting and analyze data as needed
- Continual support for all Community associate requests pertaining to security
- Troubleshoot systems and errors to resolution
- Keep open lines of communication with the entire IT team
- Analyze all current alerts for improvements
- Develop improvement plans for existing processes
- Create documentation for everything done
- Perform other duties as assigned
Interested student enrolled in cyber security courses
Required Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing
- Intermediate to advanced computer and technology skills
- Established knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
