Essential Functions
- Thoroughly review project documents including plans and specifications
- Meet with Project Manager regarding how the project was bid, labor burden,
- Understand all items of work
- Become familiar with scheduling requirements to achieve or beat the project
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers on the project
- Handle daily project problems with assistance from Project Manager as required
- Layout projects for building locations and site work
- Verify field dimensions when necessary
- Keep job site safe and clean
- Responsible for Project Safety
- Keep tool trailer and truck clean and orderly
- Discipline workers as required
- Quality control over our work and subcontractors
- Manage and maintain equipment.
- Compile all field paperwork
- Inform Project Manager of change order work and extra work
- Work in high, precarious places such as scaffolding and ladders.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
- This position reports directly to the Project Manager.
- Follows all company standards based on the employee handbook, drug & alcohol
- This role is based out of Lewistown, MT office, but travel to projects will be
duration, or travel on a regular basis will be required. Work related travel
expenses are covered by the Company.
Experience And Skills Desired
- Five plus years in field work experience on masonry construction projects.
- Must require minimal supervision.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the
- Be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors
- Confident in English and Spanish languages.
- Clean criminal background as we work on secure state and federal facilities.
- Must be able to read and understand project documents such as plans and
- Prior experience in managing self-performance trade scopes is highly desirable.
