Position Overview
We are looking for a kind, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is excited to gain experience in the field of early childhood education. As an Assistant Teacher/Floater, you’ll work closely with lead teachers to support a warm, engaging classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom routines and activities
- Support children through play, exploration, and learning experiences
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Model kindness, patience, and respect in all interactions
- Help with classroom organization, materials prep, and maintaining a clean environment
Qualifications
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Positive, reliable, and eager to learn
- Team player with good communication skills
- No formal education or previous experience required — training and ongoing support provided
- Must meet state childcare licensing requirements (background check, etc.)

Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
