We are looking for an experienced Food Service Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a focus on customer service, menu planning, and budgeting. The Food Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food service department, including staff training and development, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and developing strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
- Develop and implement food service policies and procedures.
- Manage food service staff and ensure proper training is provided.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of food service operations.
- Monitor food quality and presentation.
- Ensure that all customer complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory and ordering of food supplies.
- Develop menus that meet customer needs and budgetary requirements.
We are looking to bring an experienced food service director to our correction team in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. As a Food Service Director, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and supervise the work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
- The ideal candidate must have high-level product knowledge, provide friendly and helpful customer service and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- The ideal candidate must have experience supervising a team.
- Be able to pass criminal background check.
- Be able to pass drug screening (OMMA cards not allowed)
Nice-to-haves:
- Food Handlers certification preferred.
Pay:
$40k - $45k (based on experience)
