Benchmarc is seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations for a fast-paced, highly dynamic retail display and fixture production environment. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, labor utilization, quality standards, workflow efficiency, and on-time delivery across all custom retail display projects.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in custom manufacturing or POP/POS display production, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams (engineering, project management, logistics, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines and capacity requirements
- Manage and supervise production staff, team leads, and all warehouse personnel
- Coordinate closely with engineering, project management, and logistics teams
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Track and report production activity
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all company safety procedures
- Ensure equipment maintenance and operational readiness in coordination with maintenance teams
Qualifications
- *Must speak Spanish fluently*
- 2 years of production management experience
- Experience managing high-mix, custom project-based manufacturing operations
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP & Warehouse Management Systems is a plus
